This project involves replacing major mechanical systems, primarily air handling units, within the E, F, G, I, J, and K wings as well as the outdated electrical equipment including main 13.2 kV electrical switchgear of the Campus Center at SUNY – Old Westbury. The campus center of SUNY – Old Westbury consists of eight wings (E, F, G, H, I, J, K & L) that houses daycare, IT, studios, classrooms, offices, theater, library encompassing 310,000 GSF. The complex programming and integrated campus demands an integrated approach. Working directly with the State University Construction Fund leadership, SETTY has additionally managed the HAZMAT investigation and abatement, as well as the architectural, structural, and acoustical associated work for the
$10, 000, 000 replacement effort.
