Located in the heart of Philadelphia, Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia is steps away from some of the city’s greatest attractions, boutique shops, tree-filled parks and happy hour in Rittenhouse Square.

The 332 rooms of the Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia feature locally inspired artwork that speaks to Philadelphia’s diverse neighborhoods. With more than 5,000 square feet of customizable state-of-the-art function space, the hotel can accommodate a variety of business or social events.

SETTY services include MEP LEED Commissioning for the Hyatt Centric Hotel. The building is a 250,423 square foot hotel, aiming at obtaining at a minimum LEED silver certification. The building consists of 14 floors and a 4-level parking garage below grade. The ground floor provides 7,391 SF for a future retail space, and the second floor will provide 5,300 square feet for a future restaurant.

SETTY’s Commissioning tasks include Commissioning at Design, Construction, and Occupancy & Warranty Phases. Regarding Hyatt’s desire for LEED silver certification, this project already well-positioned. It involved the use of an existing urban site, public transit is within walking distance, and it is located in a city with some of our highest rated LEED buildings.

The foundation is in place for a model project – it was the part of our job to see that the full potential is met.
