Serving the people of Loudoun for over 100 years, Loudoun Hospital first opened its doors at downtown Leesburg in the year 1912. Today, the hospital is expanding its already robust footprint to include a seven-story, 366,000-square-foot tower which offers private rooms and feature patient-centered design. This new patient tower at Inova Loudoun Hospital is just one phase of the Hospital’s master plan for expansion of facilities. The new tower features an array of enhanced tertiary services, including Level III Trauma care at the Inova Virts Miller Family Emergency and Trauma Center, along with expanded services throughout the hospital. It includes the enlarged Inova Heart and Vascular Institute Schaufeld Family Heart Center, expanded Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and a new obstetrics unit alongside an expanded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Additionally, the tower offers outpatient services, diagnostic imaging, a café, and hospital support facilities. It also includes shell space for future expansion.
