SETTY has had the privilege of collaborating with Gallaudet University on multiple projects over the last 10 years. One of SETTY’s tasks was to substantially reduce operational costs. SETTY programmed and implemented optimized sequences of operation, fine-tuning the control strategies for the central plant. This optimization reduced energy consumption by managing system loads more effectively and ensured that both heating and cooling resources were used only when necessary, minimizing waste.

Through the enhanced control systems and optimized sequences of operation, Gallaudet University saw a significant reduction in energy usage, resulting in lower utility costs. The digital twin was utilized during construction, enabling real-time modeling and simulation of system performance.
